I’ve been rethinking how Contacts work in Minibits.
First step: Public Contacts now let you search Nostr users by name or address — and see their follower count to avoid fakes.
I feel that ollower counts are not the best metric since they cns be faked by spinning up an npub and then thousands of others to follow one of them. Using WoT or using Nostr address validation is something that can't be faked.
In that case use the "Load nostr users I follow" option - lets you import your pubkey and list your follows (for now limited to 20).
I think I could even automate it for nostr profile that uses wallet's address as its lightning address (that should belong to you)
True not ideal. To be sure, user should search for full nostr address. Still, as shown on screenshots, there can be valid, yet abandonned profiles - in that case followers count works.
Oh they just have to restart the mint. This happens because of how funky Mints are when you pay a HODL invoice. Either you wait for it to settle or have the Mint restart to sync up your proofs with the LN node.
Do you see any prior lightning transaction in pending/error state? If so, dm me its audit trail from tx detail screen.
As well, try to restart the app in case it failed somehow to sync proofs state with the mint.
Can you recieve this. cashuBpGFteCJodHRwczovL21pbnQubWluaWJpdHMuY2FzaC9CaXRjb2luYXVjc2F0YXSBomFpSABQBVDwSUFGYXCCo2FhCGFzeEBjMjhlZjI4NjBjZWY3MTllOTBhZWJjNjAyMzJjOWYwNjhlMjdmZWJlNDg5MTcxNjU5MTI4MjVlMzg4OTZjMzM3YWNYIQP-lchv0Ey9ywjmkJq1fU_XFAb4B-Tibg-u7q5rv6bot6NhYQJhc3hAZjhkYTRiYTdkNzE3ODJhZjk1Yzc5Zjc1YjE5NDJjNjA5OWMzNjY1M2E2MGI4NWZlYTViODhkZTZmNWVlNTc4MmFjWCECT-gEaS0Ak4bOnL-nVbNNxzyxHsEXy8b3wLV_yvA9PXNhZHJTZW50IGZyb20gTWluaWJpdHM
Could you dm me an audit trail of the first transaction where you've got "proofs pending" error? Should be a lightning transfer.
Message "proofs are pending" is returned by mint in case lightning stays in-flight.
Wallet normally keeps such ecash notes reserved to settle the payment in ending state as well and moves them back o spendable balance only when mint confirms that related payment failed on lightning side.
If you get this error, smthg broke, could be on the mint side. with an audit trail I can check mint/lightning node for specific payment status.
