Horrible take. Voting is how we prevented Hillary Clinton from becoming the president in 2016. The amount of lives saved by not having her as the commander in chief is incalculable. That mantra needs to be put to bed. That’s why libertarians have no political power.
You’re right, that is why libertarians have no power. They still think voting matters and can change this, when it only extends it. The monetary and financial systems must be burned down, and there is no politician or political party that can do that, only us.
Not every problem is best solved through politics. No disagreement there, but politics will always matter and be a part of society. Quitting that game is not the answer long term
Hillary won the popular vote by ~3M votes, did their votes matter? I keep pushing back on this take because the US wasn’t designed to be a direct democracy and there are multiple features of the system which are implemented specifically to make your vote not carry influence Fun fact: the first presidential election with regular citizens voting wasn’t until the 1820s, and had less than 500k votes
They mattered to the extent they got electoral college votes. I am not arguing that the US is or should be a democracy. All I am saying is that voting matters (obviously). I am not saying it solves every problem.
<burned down> What about peacefully (but firmly) replaced? (A genuine question, not internet disagreeability — curious your thoughts).
