I still remember those days when people said that free software would solve everything; some of you are too young to remember, but later on, Bitcoin was supposed to solve everything.
The truth is that the world is much worse now than it was when free software first emerged—and also than it was when Bitcoin first emerged.
Perhaps neither of them was the solution; perhaps the solution lies more within ourselves than in these tools, but we all forget that humanity is stupid.

That's the problem with people who think about tools—they don't think about who's going to use them. The world is more connected, linking individuals in collective bubbles with plenty of entertainment at the cost of attention; an algocracy in favor of stupidity.

Brand new to the free software, freedom tech stuff. Looks to me like these tools will solve a lot for those that use them properly. Humans and their morality have not changed for thousands of years. Its going to take more than 20 years for a small group with good tools to overthrow the old system, if we ever do. Keep going
