I sat down with @paul keating and @DirectorHodl to talk about Hummingbird, the documentary they just released on @IndeeHub The film grew out of the Bitcoin Jungle community in Uvita, Costa Rica, and builds itself around the indigenous prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor. The eagle is the engineering mind that builds and abstracts. The condor is the body that lives in relation to the land. The two fell out of balance after 1500, and the prophecy holds they're meant to come back together in our era as a third bird, the Hummingbird. At the heart of it all is Estella, a Costa Rican farmer who fought the banks and the monocrop barons and ended up as the Bitcoin Grandma of her local market.
