Thread - Nostr Hypermedia

I think this highlights what social media has truly become for a lot of people; entertainment. If it was about connecting with friends, the "Following" feeds would be all we need, but the "FYP" dominates. There's no difference between turning on the TV and opening TikTok/Instagram for a lot of people. They want stimulus and entertainment.

I don't think so. It's just a question of people not being interested in bitcoin, but when then check out Nostr bitcoin is absolutely unavoidable. If you don't find bitcoin, bitcoin will find you. There's no escape. Would you stay around if you found a new social network protocol but everything on it was people discussing Warhammer 40,000 and there was no way you could escape it Warhammer 40,000 no matter how you tried?
