That's why I am indifferent to encryption. Best to not transmit information you don't want anyone else to see, digitally.
Stay away from encryption and you are more careful.

Can't be stolen if it doesn't exist. It _can_ be a false sense of security sometimes.
Encryption can't prevent the routers from seeing what devices your transacting with and when. You have to use someone else's network somewhere with some known piece of technology at some point.
