This is a bit disingenuous, as people in Iran and co. are too terrified to post anything criticizing the government. And most of it gets filtered out by the censors. You have to feel free enough to post the comment, in the first place, and the comment has to be rendered in someone else's app, so that you get reported.

True. But still this is scary.

Yes, if you are informed about that you live in authoritarian regime, you do not post freely. If you are not, but still live in regime with at least early stages of authoritarian or totalitarian regime and you are not informed about it and try to speak freely, you will be arrested.
