It looks like this mostly happening with iPhones, so maybe it's another agreement between the U.K government and Apple.

Thanks. Exactly what I was wondering. A certain brand etc. Tim Cook should be castrated if true.
Google can & has done this too. They control your phones software, and can automatically install or uninstall apps.
