One of the benefits of not being a corporate slave. I have seen automation happening 10 years ago in my department in a big corporation. “Great achievement! Thanks! Now pack your stuff and get the f out.” This is what happened to me long before AI.

That's a nasty situation.
By automation, was that not just a code word for outsourcing your job to a country with slave wages?
I honestly never minded that. We settle each month on pay day (plus bonuses every quarter).
After that, we start again. From hero to zero ... Fresh start.
I am free to leave at any time, and my employer is free to kick me out once it's no longer a good deal for them to have me around.
Sure, it is hard to be kicked out the first time - just like getting dropped by a boy- or girlfriend the first time. But life goes on and you get to start over in a new place. It puts hair on your chest and builds character. You plan for that situation, and are better prepared for it in the future.
I actually like corporate life ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯
Sure - if you feel like a slave or if it's an abusive relationship, you obviously should leave - but corporate life is not all bad 😉
Freedom to focus on health, like eating animal foods for optimal function.

Same song, different verse. Rockefeller's efficiency dreams, now on steroids with AI, courtesy of Klaus Schwab's WEF blueprint.
