I think you’ve made a miscalculation in your understanding of how you move from one standard to another, and how you build something better that actually has the chance to become dominant. If you think it’s going to happen because everyone in the world is suddenly going to be comfortable and competent pasting raw private keys from one app to the next, you’ve made a serious error, imo.
