Some times I don't know what I am doing on nostr. I don't have a firearm or a homestead, don't really know how to cook or grow my own food, I think weed is stupid, I like having functional governments, don't stack sats, and am not humble.

Probably, I am just in it for the dill weed. I may not be much in a kitchen, but adding fresh dill to a sandwich is sublime.
Dill is one of those herbs/spices I'm not really into. For pickling I guess it's good, in moderation, but can't think of a time I had a dish with dill flavoring that I thought wouldn't have been better without it.
Encounter it seldom though, so maybe I should give it another try. It does sound kinda good on a sandwich

Will consider it. Got a bit of space since the basil didn't grow this season for some reason. May buy some micro green version at farmers market first though, assuming they have some, cuz we like the micro green stand to put stuff on sandwiches and dishes, though my go to is mustard leaf

Anytime I read about Nordic fish I'm reminded of Surstrommig (had to look that up, doesn't sound right but appears it's the dish I had in mind), with the buried fermented fish, which is apparently so pungent it must be opened up far from others.
Has anyone tried this? I haven't had the chance, though I'm sure it's pretty bad. I'd give it a taste though, maybe someday

It is normal from the design, that it takes time to find users, which deliver some intresting views or information.
But it is an open protocol in the End like Email or social contracts. You do not need certain preconditions or intrests to participate.
Best to just post about things you like doing or about notes and articles you usually read. Eventually you will be found by people swith similar intrest.

I don't actually mind being the odd one out. In some way, everyone is. I just find it amusing that communities land on strange identities. For instance, if I wanted to call myself "conservative" in America that carries a bunch of viewpoint baggage that isn't particularly conservative. Same with liberal.
My goal isn't necessarily to find like-minded people, it is to keep #nostr from becoming more than a technical label. It shouldn't equate to #bitcoin or #libertarian etc.
I agree, that a free nostr is best without seeking for labels. I also find such stigmas as "normal", "left" and "right" not that helpful.
I think in the end it is important to explain what one wants to say in order to be understood. No matter what stigmas talk and text to each other.

If you have spare, persillade is a great accompaniment to fish dishes and dill is a great herb to use in it.
Also, tarragon, mint or thyme as well as the standard parsley.

Good stuff though, didn't know what persillade was, at least not the name, but ingredients sound good.
Bought this to try in some sandwiches later in week, and also for a little pickling, which is something we've been doing here and there lately with good results so far.
