If I'm deciding to put my DMs in cryptographically signed events on public relays, they may as well be NIP-04.
Use something else for privacy.
Maybe we don’t even need nostr dm
AUTH is significantly superior compared to whatever the fuck gift wraps are which don’t even have the concept of spam filtering and are a DoS vector.
SimpleX and other protocols fix this by creating communication channels that require consent from both sides before receiving data
