The Penny is getting phased out and the USA is moving to a “cash rounding system” - sounds like the start of hyperinflation. They’ll eventually say the $1 bill is getting phased because you’ll just round to the nearest $20

In Argentina there are no coins and the smallest bill is 100 peso bill. Which is around 10 cents in usd purchasing power.

Is just the realization that having a coin that cannot buy anything is a waste of money. There is not hyperinflation, it's the accumulation over years of regular inflation
