Dead serious. I can never understand why we value one human life over one other. I don't get it.

Death happens all the time. Assassination of a public figures does not. This is the sting of death + the visceral evidence of a society unraveling.

I value all human life. I don't understand why thousands of people would cry over some one they didn't know. If someone loses someone close to me I am there for them. This though. I don't get it. It's not a tradegy. It was his journey. We all have one. Not one of them are special and all of them are special. Just another soul. Many moved on today.

Society has been unraveling forever. And I say bring it on. Let's do this already. I'm ready.
@n0>1 First of all, your not making any friends by such a blatant lack of empathy, tact, or timing. Second, most people, like you and I, don't have the courage to leave anonymity to stand for something they believe in. Love him or hate him, Charlie was well known for being open and bold about his faith and moral leanings. He was no coward. Third, he's with the Lord now and is perfectly fine, the mourning is more about the fact that two babies who ran to the door to meet daddy after work will never see him again. THATS what hurts the most. Finally, fuck you.

I am full of empathy. I hurt all the time for things all over the place. Why would i cry for this of all things? This is just another man. There are a lot of them. You didn't know him. I didn't know him.

I am okay with not having friends if it means speaking my truth. If this guy wasn't on a political team, no one would care.
