100%. Also all of the commercials I’ve seen during the World Series and other sports for other shows on that network are centered around fear and trauma..
Medical bs, first responder/disaster situations, post-apocalyptic programming, murder cases (especially centered around small towns and rural areas), etc etc

Absolutely. Most of the time when I’m actively watching games now I instantly mute when it goes to commercials. Seeing all the brain-dead stuff, ads that are supposed to be funny that aren’t, fat people dancing around promoting some diabetes med for big pharma, etc. just throws me off. I’ve definitely become the “get off my lawn” guy lol
Same same. It hurts to watch and listen to when we're at other people's houses. I wonder how they can subject themselves to all of the subliminal programming that's in ads (I was interested in this deeply in high school so I majored in marketing at UGA to understand the psychology behind marketing lol)
When i see my wife or kids staring at a commercial I gently tease them for getting sucked in 😂
