Multivendor is nice as long as you make sure to never die. If you want there to be a reasonable chance that your heirs can access your #Bitcoin in the event of your unexpected passing I think the best course of action is to use one hardware wallet type (multisig), one wallet software, and get your family members to know it well. For hardware wallet I use Coldcard.
