the most frustrating part of this is listening to people asserting that things have happened to me that never happened. people say that being molested makes you gay, and all gays were molested, with the most religious conviction, the way that a child insists that chocolate cows come from chocolate milk and santa brings the presents.
it's part of an argumentative strategy to try and prove that homosexuality is preventable. by anchoring homosexuality to a crime with a victim you can frame homosexuality as a problem that needs to be solved. in doing so you characterize innocent homosexuals as predators, even if you follow it up with an empty "not all x are like that" gesture. it's completely dishonest.
since you like anecdotes so much, I only know one guy who likes guys and was molested by an adult. but the adult was a woman.
