I kinda wanna call bullshit. Do they legally have to delete your data? If I was google I would just lie so people didn't revolt
It's a law in the US that any company delete user data from deleted accounts I think.
Actually there doesn't appear to be a law, they claim they do it but who knows, at least I won't be using them anymore.
Bravo! I did this years ago and I never regretted it. You lose suprisingly little (a few paid android apps maybe). I still use android. I use google maps from time to time. I use YouTube. But I don't log into these things. I can use them anonymously, no cookies, VPNs, via invidious, etc.
