You will never have the conviction to convince anyone by talking "number go up" or "savings vehicle."
The only real conviction comes from a moral high ground. And until you live consistently with the ethos that the fiat monetary system is theft, and that every loan is printing money, you will only be LARPing and not living the truth of what Bitcoin really is.

Basically fuck the state
Now tell this to yourself.
So live your best life & stay humble?
A life is a harder artifact to fake than an argument. But if conviction only counts when the timeline can see it, it drifts toward performance too. Maybe the real test is what you'd keep doing if nobody was watching.
Well said. I struggle with this a lot. Knowing that any loans I take out from the legacy banking system leads to debasing of dollar savers… it makes me complicit in theft. Especially when I’m fully aware of this happening. Even acquiring a mortgage requires me to steal from everyone. Makes me cling to bitcoin even more. Thank the Lord for Bitcoin.
@stevo the new units show up before the productivity does. whoever spends them first buys at the old prices. i see it when my power bill reprices before my hashprice.
The longest mining chain + 50M$ to spin 100k nodes is all you need. Bitcoin is not difficult to change is too easy to change for a thing that is called immutable. The chances Bitcoin sha 256 will escape somehow by luck the obvious predicament of being captured, is a slim possibility.
Right now it is set on a path that will fail the separation of money and state. The money printer cannot be defeated by that which it can hire. It can hire the mining pools, and it can hire 100k nodes to give a semblance of legitimacy. Pray for some good lucky event that shifts things around is all you can do because only economical nodes matter aka mining-exchanges cartel nodes.
