Bitcoin Node runners will have to fight off all of the spammers and scammers filling up bitcoin with arbitrary spam garbage. That's the only way forward if we want node runners to continue to matter and for Bitcoin to remain money. Node runners will have to remain in charge and Mining pools will have to follow the rules.
