supercar may be indirectly useful for OpSec; when getting car jacked its unlikely your assailants will take your car AND ask for your private keys. supercar is the distraction
Superb point indeed, hadn't thought of that benefit.
Additionally, should the assailant choose to request private keys, the supercar owner can plausibly point to the vehicles purchase as evidence he/she is short bitcoin.
