yeah both work well but if you only need to access one address you only need that key and you need no keys at all (or seeds) to fund addresses, obviously. I just never levelled up from keys to seeds to signers. I import a key to electrum on an offline laptop, sign the transaction and delete the key again. then I broadcast it from the online PC. The rest of my wallets outside of that process are just burner wallets. But yeah, I'm old (and lazy).
