Your very lucky to have such cheap available land in the U.S. I zapped @Nostralian to plant a tree at his house as a #Nostrees because I have no more space here and land prices are so high bitcoin is my only hope to buy some! I have had a similar idea too but it was with hazelnuts with and overstory of aurucaria araucana (monkey puzzle or Chilean pine). The problem being is the latter takes a long to produce anything I could well be dead by the time there is anyone harvesting pinones. The cool thing is small amount of value in sats now could be stored e.g in a multisig and be used as an incentive to keep unproductive trees being chopped down for short term gain.

I'm looking at doing a market garden/self reliance education centre. Probably going to crowd fund the set up costs. Ie ,sell vouchers in exchange for courses. That's the elevator version at least.
