Love making most of my food from scratch. Even if I’m a big fan of cow milk, I’m not really consuming that much now that I’m pregnant. I eat a lot of parmesan, mozzarella, sometimes yogurt & I make gummies filled with collagen and milk that I get at the local market but for smoothies I’ll start use homemade almond milk. Also because I had a bunch of organic almonds lol. Here’s the recipe I used, it turned out pretty yummy - and with the pulp of the soaked almonds I made these protein bars with with ghee, peanut butter, chocolate, shredded coconut. May you find this helpful :) 10β€―oz raw almonds, soaked in filtered water overnight πŸŒ™ 2 pitted dates (also soaked overnight for creaminess) 1β€―tsp of maple syrup 6 cups fresh water for blending - Soak almonds and dates separately in filtered water overnight. - Drain & rinse them well in the morning. (Forget about this lol) - Blend soaked almonds, dates, maple syrup, and 6 cups fresh water on high for 1–2 minutes until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher. Store in the fridge for up to 4–5 days. Shake before pouring. https://blossom.primal.net/50d55fc4f56164d626bf9f443bdb3546a43235b5d2369288824b7599d79cf822.mov https://blossom.primal.net/f9a9569d6c01ce7bd276814e280b4bd675edc325ea55520db2c4f927b450ae06.mov
