If you position your product as freedom tech, you already lost mass appeal. Very few will find your product.
It needs to be better than what already exists and freedom is the side benefit.
But that’s like .. my opinion.

I think this is true anecdotally. And numbers seem to indicate it.
Freedom tech should have the best UX.
I don't have a product, and I have never tried to win over normies. They're a lost cause, and they kinda ruin things they miggrate to.
I mean... It kinda does.
Have you actually tried using Instagram recently? Most of the best Nostr apps are much smoother and easier to use.
People aren't on legacy social because they like "the UX". They're there because their friends / favorite content creators are there. It's that simple.
