I simply mean that human brains and recollections aren't going to always be accurate. Yes, recordings can be tampered with but human brains remember with a bias. That's why eyewitness accounts are often unreliable. Five people in the same room will remember the same incident 5 different ways, each with their own bias.

That bias is always in play, though, because the video is not the thing judging what is happening on the display. The human watching it is. And a human can watch the same video as five other people and come away with a different conclusion as well.
