Revised, proper card grammar/text:
During your turn: You can activate this effect, and if you do: Summon a "Demand" token (DARK/Fiend/ATK 0/DEF 0) with the following effect: At the start of the controller's turn, they must immediately reduce their LP by half. No player can activate card effects in response to this effect's activation except for effects by a "Demand" token. While this card is face-up on the field, both players gane the following effects:
* For each turn this card has been face up on the field, increase the cost of any effect that requires LP to be paid by 1000.
* Any LP gained from any effect is halfed. (This is calculated after the original effect is resolved.)
* (Quick effect) When an effect is activated that allows a player to draw cards: Reduce the number of drawn cards by 1. This effect can only be resolved once per chain.
Once per turn: Both players banish cards equal to half the count of total cards in their GY from play, face down. This effect of "Merchant of the infinite Loop" can only be activated once per turn, and only once by "Merchant of the infinite Loop".
There are a few bits I likely got wrong in terms of wording - but between MR3 (which was my most active time) and MR5 (current) a whole lot of phrasing has changed. :)
I hear it’s being banned from tournament play
