Good luck maintaining a right to privacy in Latin America. In many countries, you can't even buy things in shops (sometimes) without ID. I'm not talking about guns, or currency, sometimes it's trivial small items in ordinary stores (emphasis: *sometimes* and of course varies by country). I might even argue it's worse in LatAm than Europe ... but I think nowadays Europe is overall worse. Both absolutely awful in that regard. At least cash remains very strong in LatAm, which is an enormous plus.

Yea, I agree, it’s ridiculous that we are at this point everywhere. But it’s crazy that the government is continuing this every month. They can be better, and I hope the people there see the importance of demanding their rights back, but I’m not there so I don’t know a shit how bad it is or isn’t.
