I’ve tried ppq.ai a couple times now, but somehow the response time is slow(er), and several times no answer was generated at all (for more complex questions). I love the idea of PPQ, but so far it’s got room to improve.. is this just me, or are these known drawbacks?

Honestly this is a bit surprising. When was the last time you tried it? We made a major upgrade about 1.5 months ago which should have made it just as snappy as many of the big AI providers, but there are always inconsistencies. Sometimes certain models go down, sometimes they get slow for a half a day, etc. That could have been it. Please try it again. I'm guessing that you tried GPT5 Pro which was a bit of a trainwreck... it had many problems. Was that it?

This was during the past week, mostly with auto model selection. Answers usually require 30+ seconds to generate. I’ll give it a go with manual model selection, maybe that solves the issue!

I’ve been using it for a bit longer now, and things seem to have sped up. Awesome product, tbh! The interoperability between the models is amazing!

The auto model is indeed slow sometimes. The slow part is it does a sort of pre-query to determine which model to use, which takes forever sometimes. Manual mode should be much better. We are looking on how to improve the auto model speed.
