Let me put a bit of nuance here. There are not enough of us organized to do the revolts you ask for without just getting ourselves killed in vain. And reaching out with the intent to organize puts you at risk at being turned in by a patsy before you built up the systems needed to start. I have tested those waters. There are not enough of the ideologically aligned people in the right places to do anything more than a glorified suicide mission right now. It needs to happen. You are totally right. And the overwhelming majority of military benefits (and gov benefits in general) need to be cut. Libertas is correct that there is so much more ridiculous spending that should be cut first. However wasteful veterans benefits are, funding gender studies in Pakistan or congressional bowling tournaments are even more so. The "who cares, I got mine" is the real issue here. It is one of those behaviors that is negligible as a one-off, but kills societies in the aggregate. 100 thousand people saying the same thing can cost millions.

"First" and then this guy brags about being on the take because the people paying in are "suckers" This guy is a traitor. Never believed in his oath and is proud of stealing from the people and country that he swore an oath to. And on top of all that is too much of a coward to do something. He deserves to be berated in the streets everywhere he goes until he puts a gun in his mouth and removes the plague that he is from our world. He is part of the problem and has never been a part of any solution. The best he can do is devote his time to dying.

I am just pointing out that it is important to morally distinguish between evil ideologues, bleeding hearts thay got betrayed, willful parasites, and mere opportunists. Bear in mind that some of the best solutions to the problem will be the former bleeding hearts who went inside the belly of the beast and were horrified by what they found. I see nostr and decentralized social media like it as a necessary pillar towards the organization real change will require. Before real action can be taken, we need a simple way to talk to and find each other to develop the web of trust required to then form communities and an independent parallel real money economy. Those communities and that economy will then be the bases from which actual decisive action can be done.
