It's also a fun gimmick that they renamed themselves all as brothers in this fictional Wilbury family. They didn't need the fame, just wanted to make good music!

I remember somewhere that George Harrison showed up at everyone's house with a trunk full of ukuleles. I think Tom Petty was talking about that. Imagine anyone showing up at your house with a bunch of ukuleles haha
