Awesome 😎 the best 💪🏼 you’re going to love it 💪🏼 I’m down in Paraguay 🇵🇾 it’s a challenging place to do this kind of a complete restoration to say the least… I’m new to the country so no home/garage to use, but I’ve met some great people and found a solid mechanic shop that knows the 80 well to do the major mechanical work for me while I do as much as I can and use specialty guys for the different pieces of the puzzle… iron fabrication, custom steel pieces, interior restoration, etc… down here it’s all individual guys who have their little niche thing they do and the garage has been helping me to find those guys and restore or rebuild every major system… we are finally finished with all mechanical (mostly) and body work so we are in final stages of paint before we go for the custom rear & front bumpers, guard side-rails and then I’ll build the camping system for long term travel out and hopefully hitting the road in Dec to surf & kitesurf all of South America for the next couple years. What’s your plan for once you get your build?!

I really admire the effort and dedication. It will be worth it!
The one I bought was in solid shape but wasn’t a daily, so it had a lot of various problems when I got it. Exterior looks great, but engine was showing its age at 225k miles. So I figured, might as well bite bullet and make it my dream car. I’m also putting a 32 gallon tank on it and a bunch of other fun things.
