I still get having a presence on Twitter, but *not* being on #nostr is dumb. Nostr literally lets you hold your own social keys. Refusing to use it is like insisting to only ever hold the equivalent of bitcoin IOUs for your social network. People have their socials regularly obliterated for no reason these days. Livelihoods are often attached to our networks now. At the LEAST, #nostr should be considered necessary social network disaster insurance. (I give a tiny bit of leeway to those who avoid it because they just think they have a *better* solution to the decentralized social problem… whether they are right or wrong, that makes more sense)
