nah, just that for whatever reason, the android version on my phone defaults to making instant messaging apps not allow unrestricted network/battery usage. so the stupid things are almost never on when anyone sends me messages. i've set all my IM apps to stay awake and connected, which should fix the problem. but something just seems off at the moment. can't put my finger on it.
