Trying to occupy the victim position is categorically a race to the bottom.
Downward spiral.
Instead realize the truth, the only person holding you down is you.
You’re not a victim. You never were.
You’re responsible for everything that has ever or will ever happen to you. Good and bad.
Take extreme ownership over your life.
You’re in control.

I would agree with you Hodle. There are so many fake victims. So many that we're blind to the presence of real victims: Palestinians. Your post unfortunately only works on attention seekers fake victims.
For example, what do you recommend Palestinians do? They're being fucked with by Israel and every paid lowlife mercenary on earth as we speak.
Watch what businessmen in Gaza say about property rights.
💯 agree. But let’s also agree, that in our current Fiat-World System, there is some inherently very unfair starting points for people…
That situation is fucked no matter how you slice it.
The world was unfair on a gold standard too, unfairness is the default.

THIS. MORE PEOPLE NEED THIS MINDSET.

I’m in control 🤩
My wife disagrees
Don’t blame others for the road you’re on. That’s your own asphalt.
Trying to be a victim for points is stupid. So is blaming actual victims for the things that happened to them.
huh...I know folks (have friends) that refuse to be a victim of anything and seem to focus on the positive of everything and others that seem to dwell on the negative and always sound like victims...not sure if either group is always right but I know which ones are more pleasant to hang out with🤔
Perfectly said

There are plenty of people that play the victim, especially in middle class America.
However, making a blanket statement like this is like claiming history does not exist.
I've read books that describe overseers who forced boys to suck their dicks nearly every morning to start the day.
But of course those boys were responsible, in the same way the boys that get raped by priests are responsible.
And by that logic if there are no victims and everyone is responsible for what happens to them then there are no perpetrators of crime are there? Those children let it happen, they where asking for it to be done.
Again plenty of people play victim or allow themselves to feel like victims in circumstances they could in fact change or not let happen in the first place.
But to say there are no victims is quite a historically illiterate statement.
Even if you are a victim, it does you no good psychologically to dwell on that fact.
Let’s imagine you were hit by a drunk driver and both your legs were severely shattered.
You’re a victim. Something awful happened to you that you had no control over.
But will it help to feel sorry for yourself? Will it heal your legs to blame the drunk driver? Even though something happened to you, you’re the only person who can physically rehab your legs and get yourself walking again.
Is this an unfair circumstance? Of course.
But what tangible benefit, would you get out of identifying as a victim?
In my opinion there isn’t one.
While what you say is perhaps ultimately true I think it’s really important people discover that wounded part of themselves, that “victim”,…to get acquainted with it, not banish it to the dark corners of nowhere, but instead have tea with it, love on it, show it the light of inclusion, the way bitcoin functions as an open source to us all. If that isn’t done, then a spiritual bypass can happen and then we end up as toxic as our fiat predecessors.
