Understood! So then do you end up with 2 devices holding the same seed? I’m an Mk4 user trying to learn more about cold storage best practices so please don’t be offended by my questions! 🫢🏽

Understood, thank you sir. So the goal overall is to have a second device in case one is lost or malfunctions? Are there any other benefits to cloning your Mk4 into a new Q otherwise?

Jup. Main advantage of the q is the bigger screen and qr code scanner. The seed vault is also very nice implemented in the q. You can easily add temporary seeds and passphases to the card and play with it. To be honest I use the q as my main device. If it fails or breaks I have always the mk4 as fallback.
