I don't even know after reading that what AP x Swatch is. Pocket watches? Is it the late 1800's?

AP is a Swiss luxury brand that started to make high complication quality pocket watches around 1875 before wrist watches were a thing. Their most famous design is the Royal Oak and its case shape inspired this pocket watch made by Swatch named Royal Pop. They did this to celebrate 150 years of watch making and AP promised to dump the revenue from the collab into training a new generation of watch makers. The movement inside is Swatch’s automatic SISTEM51 which is quite impressive, consisting of just 51 parts. But it’s completely unrepairable so most of these watches will end up in a landfill at some point.
