upgraded by bitcoin node to send me notifications as giftwrapped/encrypted kind1s. adds a bit more security so they can't be accidentally broadcasted from my private wireguard relay.

That's pretty neat there.
On a separate note, I'm still working on nostr hero but this morning I was looking at grain and I know the database is it's weakest point. So I considered all options and when I get back to grain, I'm going to replace mongo with nostrdb 😘

Why a gift wrapped kind 1? why not a kind 14, chat message?
either one works. this one shows up in my notifications. we don't have DMs ready on android yet so I opted for kind1 for now.

I'm curious about the best way to receive these notifications.
I'd like to have a dedicated nsec+npub for notifications, and have the notifications appears as system notifications on my Debian desktop (Gnome) and also on my phone
Any thoughts?
for desktop you could run something like 
(although this wouldn't support giftwraps)
for phone i push notes to notify.damus.io which is our push notification relay for ios. need to update it for android as well
