Emailing you about my bad trip was one of the best interactions with a vendor I've ever had. I realize that I don't buy things on Nostr because I expect a superior product (though that is a nice byproduct) but because I LIKE the people I'm buying from. If you are good at social media, yes it can be possible. But if you're not, what then? Not everyone has the social skills to be that engaging and social on the Internet. It's a real skill. How do you promote your podcast if you're not good at social media, for example?

I agree. I started my npub a little over a year ago. I found people that I enjoyed interacting with, and I, of course, shilled my soap at the same time. I've never tried to take advantage of anyone, and have always kept my word. Reputation is key in this space. Without it, you have nothing. Just be yourself, even when it's a little weird, or cringe. You'll find your people, and you will prosper. We are at the beginning of Nostr. It's just like being at the beginning of Bitcoin.

This is the function of a free market. Let the people decide for themselves
