was thinkin about the word: self-possessed on my 7/11 run self-assured is there a difference? mildly casually i dont think so but maybe the case can be made, re: brando, to be possessed of one's own self in such a way that you cannot put it down, or refuse to, self must triumph

i dont know tho, i can only wonder as a major outsider, can only speculate ive never even been in an improv troupe but, and again, this was from my drive, i do know what playing is, and reciprocity is, im pretty sure all siblings do that grew up close enough in age, or close to cousins, what playing well together is, sharing, taking turns

as in, banter is implicitly a very 'yes and' thing, within bounds like tennis rallying, like with a friend on their porch sharing wine and straight riffing there is no way improv is that far away, i would guess it is just more extreme, being more willing with practice to be perceived as ridiculous fearlessly

why? i guess is my question then what is a stage doing, what is the extremity doing? is it the pressure? the adrenaline becomes addictive? being watched? the stakes? is it just a stakes thing im not gonna not be disappointed if it is just a stakes thing, which is fine, for everyone who enjoys that but i'd like there to be something more
