2 Reasons I can think of for him to not be Nostr only.
1. Nostr's user base is incredibly small, and you would be preaching to the choir. The people that understand this are already here. The message is already understood. The larger networks of the current popular platforms give a massively larger uninformed audience and reach, compared to Nostr and it's tiny niche.
2. He is making money from this. Zaps are great, but once again, the minuscule number of users isn't going to pay the bills.
Sometimes aware pragmatism makes more sense than blind idealism.

I get that but he has 4 total replies on nostr. 4 is ridiculous. If he wants nostr to succeed, then he should be more active here. He should give those users on X and YouTube more reason to come here. He can still cross post there but nostr should be the main platform you use if you want to contribute to a better future.
Nostr isn't going to blow up because one small Bitcoin creator goes Nostr only, we already have ample proof of that. For the reasons I already laid out, crippling his reach and opportunity to make money doesn't seem like it makes sense.
I don't hold any ill will towards creators who actually want to make money and have an audience. Nostr doesn't provide that yet, and one person making the switch isn't going to fix it. It seems silly to put that weight on his shoulders.
