We did evolve around fire light, the big glowing ball in the sky. It's not only the high kelvin temp that is bad, it's the flickering of LEDs aswell.

Once we get mini suns (mini nuclear explosions) in our houses, i will gladly use them.
In meantime i will use what is best for ME and what give ME most freedom from centralized electricity system. I do not care about flickering as much as i care for other things i wrote in my original replay. I use high quality LED lights that minimize flickering.
OP asked why, and i answered why. My answer applies to me, and only me.
Sun has 5000-6500K at day and i aim my LED's to be as close to that as possible (i prefer lower part of that scale for night) and 2700K is not what i prefer. If someone prefers it, good for them. You won't see me pushing my preferences onto others, or call people with different preferences "retarded" as OP did.
Some blue light is fine in the middle of the day, but it fucks with your circadian rhythm and mitochondria to have blue light in the dark hours of the day, flickering isn't great either. 1500-2000K would better when it's dark outside, in the daytime there is no need for lights. And I agree, you are free to use whatever you want
