They're coming for your privacy. What are you going to do about it? nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzqhns72th5cfpfh3p2kz6gz0etyhxt0gms9m3jpcq4esex7csz3ehqqsv3wm8zjynvdl6ck28uqgrk6tw5tra6p47lfy6hqwpk46tuc30h4c02x33x

Coming for my privacy? What privacy? We have none to loose. What we have to do is to rebuild it. Let me explain. I use Android on my phone, Windows on my PC, my car has a 4G modem that’s always online… and even if I shut off every device I own, my neighbors still have cameras, smart doorbells, and phones that record everything around them. People at work do too. Cameras are everywhere. We haven’t had real privacy for a long time — this is just making official what’s already happening. It’s not about “protecting” privacy anymore. It’s about trying to rebuild some of it with tools like Nostr, Bitcoin, and other decentralized tech. And here’s a good example from my own neighborhood: One guy nearby got into some shady deal. Someone came at night and shot a few warning rounds into his house. He had no cameras, no tech — honestly, even if he did, he wouldn’t know how to use it. But the police caught the shooter in two days thanks to all the private cameras around the neighborhood. So basically, the moment I step outside my property, I have zero privacy. And honestly, some of those cameras probably cross into my property line too, so I don’t really have it at home either. So what am I doing about it? I do what I can, but I’m realistic. As long as I want to live in modern society, there’s only so much control I have. I’m not trying to opt out of life just trying to limit the exposure where I can.

Already subscribed to mullvad, and I will try not to stop the VPN for as long as practical 💪. Target country so far is Argentina. It was kind of a blind guess so any other idea is good to take.
