The nation state of Israel is a bad actor towards the rest of the world and its own citizens. More so than most governments. And it amazes me how they applaud political actors only as long as they are useful and then they immediately demonize them when they won't support atrocities. Jews, Muslims, and Christians were getting on better under the Ottoman empire. It was Jews living in europe that were living in a state of hell. The British empire probably just wanted a beach head in the middle east and so they supported Zionism.
