Yes the driving factor in Pollacks work is the infrared exposure to water that's why I mentioned it. You mentioned infrared in relation to orgone which is interesting I haven't heard of that, but its sort the key thing driving what pollack mentions. I think he will also discover other things relating to UV eventually, I have seen him mention it a bit but considering how important biophotons seem to be in biological systems he probably has more work to do.
I think Reich's work is very different too and this sort of stuff could have been included as ether. I think what he is talking about it more is plasma based and perhaps his accumulators are like a capacitor for plasma. Some people claim they get thunderstorms from using a cloud buster, considering the sun which is emitting plasma is know to help cause thunderstorms on the planet this sort of links up. In Temple's book he also talks about dusty complex plasma clouds which seem to show evidence of intelligence and then gives a lots of other evidence that hints that the soul is plasma based. It covers a lot of stuff and is a very interesting read.
