Yes, but every woman in a police or military force is absolutely dei
This is BS. I train martial arts and I know women who do to. Nothing in the gym is funnier to me than some young ego punk getting pretzeled up by a middle age mom who started because it was something to do while her kids were in class.
You live in a world as delusional and detached from reality as the people who think every woman is qualified for those jobs. Most men aren't good enough to be competent at that work either.
Progress is not represented in cultures that send their women to enforce their rules.
There's nothing wrong with women fighting. I'm also not saying, women aren't allowed to do these things. I'm making an observation that a society that sends their women to enforce their rules is not a society in progress. It's a society in regress.
To your last point, men are physically stronger than women in almost all cases. That's just biological fact. There are more than enough men to fill all the roles of military and police. The only reason to hire a woman for these positions is because they want to and can achieve what the men can do. That's not the case t all for 99% of women hired for these roles.
A society in progress hails and protects their women. Men and women are not equal but neither are wholly better than one another. We have different strengths. Don't sit here and argue with me that women can do everything men can do. That's what's dillusional. They can't. Men also cannot do everything that women can do. We will start to progress when we structure culture to play to our strengths, not our weakness.
and out come the strawmen...
Point them out please. Do I need to dig up scientific papers on the strength of men and women?
Automatically excluding people from certain roles without even evaluating their skill or desire to do that role isn't progress by any standard I know of.
I know if I need the police I'd sure rather have
@CrisCyborg show up to protect me than your sexist ass.
And I never once suggested that... I suppose you're too fueled with anger to appropriately comprehend my comments.
I am not sexist.
Go ahead ask. Ask me if I think a woman should be allowed to protect and serve.
My answer is yes. If she can meet the same standards as the men are held to on that force. (The mens standards need to be raised too. Way too many overweight cops) You would know that if you bothered to actually comprehend what I wrote instead of trying to white knight all over the place.
@CrisCyborg would be one hell of a cop. Like RoboCop.
But you're using an extreme example clearly to justify your point. "Look cris can do it, so any woman can of they wanted to." No. No they couldn't.
I can't think of a less sexist phrase than "neither men or women are wholly better than one another"
But go off.
I'm coming in, no context, but imagine Cris being forced to fight Tyson though. Even in his old age, Tyson would destroy her.
I see this all the time with women learning martial arts too. Some self defense techniques are impossible to execute as a woman against a man, and need to be adjusted. I'd be putting a woman in danger for her life by telling her she's just as good as a man in that scenario.
Dude I keep telling you I know in person a bunch of women who are very capable fighters. For most women the difference between being able to physically beat most untrained man and not is just down to the willingness to put in the time and train themselves. It is not extreme examples either, regular everyday looking soccer moms who just put in the time and effort to learn the skill of fighting.
I am an active martial artist training in a martial art that works. You clearly are not. What level of delusion does it take to be so certain you know more about who can and who can't fight than the guy who spars for hours every week and has for years? I promise you I am not a small man and I had this lesson literally beat into me by women half my size when I started.
BTW I did read all your posts and the backtracking is very clear. This one sure is a long ass way from every female in a police or military uniform is a DEI hire. You were so eager to spout your sexism you forgot that the military is so big it has HR and nurses, traditionally female jobs, who work in uniform but never go into combat.
Bill, youβre awesome π
You missed the whole point again...
Combat positions was clearly meant to be inferred in military. I'm not backtracking. You keep calling me sexist. Can you please defend that claim. I don't take it lightly.
Thanks. I've gotten sick of how the vibe here is allegedly anti government but every time I turn around someone is putting right wing news script BS into my comments and feed. Time to choose violence.
The right people will stick around. I'm not worried about my follower count.
Yeah, the right was a nice refuge for me for a while after October 7, but the weird shit on that side has gotten extreme too. Iβm embracing being politically homeless. Camp Distrust The Government is still small, I guess π€·ββοΈ
If you don't like being called sexist then you should think harder before saying "all women"
At some point you say some sexist shit and get called for it. Been there believe me. Now you have to decide to abandon the sexist belief or admit you are going to carry on being knowingly sexist. Choose wisely.
Usually if someone says "men are stronger than women" they obviously mean most. You are using a 3rd grade argument so far to justify your claim that I'm sexist. Your argument "you didn't explicitly state that there are women that exist that can beat most men, therefore you must be sexist assuming you think every man is superior to a woman in this way"
Gunna have to do better than that. Please back up your claim that I'm sexist.
Look up agorism, we might be a home for you.
I lean right though π€·ββοΈ on libertarianism
The issue is not can a woman or man do whatever. The issue is why the fuck the government cares. DEI is a government program. The best person willing to do a job should do it.
Yeah sure if the government starts a new program that lists jobs for men and women based on 99% of the general population abilities; when that happens call that alt woke. Removing government overreach is not alt woke.
I used to. Then 2 points pushed me farther.
1. Historically every government grows until it collapses in on itself. Any limited government today is just a monster waiting to grow up and be a massive government for our children and grandchildren.
2. Basically think of it like informed consent from #metoo but applied to all human interactions. All governments continuously use force to get compliance from unwilling citizens which is immoral. You can't do a moral good by giving to charity if your only means of getting that money is armed robbery.
Itβs a good point
There is an unfortunate amount of naΓ―vetΓ© in utopian Libertarianism, as if the absence of the state isnβt simply an invitation for authoritarians to roll in and conquer them.
Precisely. Humans will always compose a heirachy. There is no liberty without order. How the order is implemented is important for liberty.
Why government? DEI is government. DEI was dictated by government and adopted by institutions across the globe. It had massive consequences.
I donβt care what stupid opinion people have. Itβs their right to have stupid opinions. So long as those opinions are not law there is no problem.
