Current devices consume 12-15w, if we arrive at 1-2w, we can take to many more very poor people to run it solo as a lottery.
I am considering it but here in Europe they cost like 250 euros and having it in a normal pool I would get 3 back after a year... So it's mostly to use as a lotto/solo miner and of course to strengthen the bitcoin ecosystem. But yeah the cost is an issue just to have it laying around...
