I’m asking this because it’s important. Just as you found your way here, more people will find their way here—and not just more people, but the right people. At least for me I am not interested in NOSTR becoming mainstream. Let’s be honest: mainstream is crap; most people are dump. We don’t need to grow exponentially and bring in millions of users from X or TikTok, but we do need steady, linear growth based on web of trust and similar ideals, values and principles. Did you come here because a friend recommended it? Recommend it to another friends who might be interested! Did you come here because of a podcast? Mention Nostr on more podcasts! Did you find it through an article? Write more articles! Nostr’s growth depends on us, not on anyone else. Instead of complaining that Nostr isn’t growing, do something to help it grow. This is the Bitcoin ethos: low time preference, quality over quantity, slow and sustained growth—but on a strong FOUNDATION.
