It's like saying Umbrel (Fedi) is Bitcoin (Fedimint) Umbrel is a private company that builds things on bitcoin and has more restrictive licenses on the things it builds directly Bitcoin the underlying protocol is openly licensed and does not care ______ If Umbrel's restrictive licenses become a problem then folks are free to create less-restrictive competing projects... but none of that affects the underlying Bitcoin protocol
