I don’t have all the answers but I’m digging- and there seem to be a lot of problems. Our eyes set a master clock for our body which then determines when to run specific programs based on what time of day/year it thinks it is based on the ratio of different wavelengths of light hitting the eye (visible and non visible). Blocking the signal confuses the clock. There are many trickle down consequences from blocking the signal. I like to think of sunglasses on eyes like putting a trash bag over your tomato plants.

I could see it definitely affecting your internal clock. Also feel that it has to make you more sensitive to sunlight since you try to constantly avoid it.
